The WILDE Foundation offers survivors that are emerging and experienced writers a supportive space to grow creatively and confidently. The range of activities include workshops, writing groups, organised trips and the founding of the Writers Festival in London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
Travelling to countries such as Morocco, Jamaica and Ireland was a powerful way to deepen the craft of writing by immersing in new environments an cultures and ways of seeing the world. The experience has fuelled creativity by breaking routine and encourage curiosity that have sparked ideas and stories that resonate with depth and originality.
Feedback provided by participants and members have shared that being together has fostered a sense of community and that creative development is enriched through connection, dialogue, and mutual encouragement.
